January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month with Discover Michigan
During January, ski areas across the state teamed up with Michigan McDonald’s restaurants to offer an affordable introduction to the sport of skiing and snowboarding. The lesson covers basic maneuvering on skis or snowboards and includes stopping, turning, riding the lifts, and getting up from a fall.
Discover Michigan is a program that includes a beginner lesson, ski or snowboard rental equipment, and a beginner lift area ticket for the price of $35.00.
Participants must preregister by calling the Mt. Holly Ski School at 248-634-3249
Lessons are offered at limited times and are subject to availability.
Skiers must be at least 7 years old.
Snowboarders must be at least 10 years old.
You must arrive at least 45 minutes early to pick up lift ticket and rentals. The lesson will begin at the time you signed up for. Late arrivals will not receive lesson.
No refunds for any reason. Participants must pre-register.
